    1. Visiting our website
      1. Scope of data processing

When you visit our website, your browser also transfers certain data to our web server for technical reasons. This involves the following data (server log files):

        • Content of the request (specific page)

        • Data volume transferred
        • Website from which the request originates ('referrer URL')
        • Browser, language and browser software version
      2. Purpose of data processing

The storage of this data in log files is needed to ensure the functionality of the website. They serve to optimise the website and safeguard the security of our IT systems.

      3. Legal basis for such processing

We collect the data based on our legitimate interest as set out in Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR for the purposes of displaying our website and safeguarding its security.

      4. Retention period

Information in the log files is retained for a maximum period of 52 days for security reasons (e.g. to clarify misuse or fraud) and then deleted. Data that must be retained for longer periods for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the incident in question has been fully clarified.

      5. Right of objection and removal

For technical reasons, the recording of data for the purposes of providing the website and its retention in log files is essential for its operation. The user consequently has no right of objection.

    2. Online-Shop
      1. Scope of data processing

If you are a commercial customer and wish to use our online shop, you will need to create an online account. You can use it to place future orders more quickly, save more than one shipping address and display your order history.

In both cases we process the following data: Title, first name, surname, e-mail address, VAT ID No., company name, street, additional address details, postcode, municipality, country, telephone and fax.

      1. Scope of data processing

A contact form is available on our website which you can use to request a visit or call back. You can also order the new ACE catalogue.

The data entered in the input mask is transmitted to us and saved if you use this option. This involves the following data: Company name, first name, surname, role, telephone number, fax number, street, postcode, municipality, country, e-mail address and website.

Alternatively, you can contact us at info@ace-int.eu. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted in the e-mail is saved.

      2. Purpose of data processing

Processing of the personal data from the input mask serves the sole purpose of facilitating communication. In event of contact being made via e-mail, this includes the necessary legitimate interest in the processing of data. 4. Retention period

The data is erased once it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose of its collection. For the personal data from the contact form input mask and that sent via e-mail, this is the case when the relevant conversation with the user has been concluded. The conversation is deemed concluded once it can be gathered from the circumstances that the situation in question has been fully clarified.

      5. Right of objection and removal

The user has the right to revoke their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. Should the user make contact with us, they may object to the retention of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.
