ACE industrial tandem gas springs (push type) make maintenance work on underground supply boxes more convenient, as their heavy flaps can be moved more easily
Underground distribution systems are visually advantageous. To facilitate their servicing, the heavy covers of the often large supply systems are brought back to the surface with the help of ACE industrial tandem gas springs (push type). This is quite easily achieved thanks to the use of two pressure pipes, the result of which is two different force ranges. This means fitters must not endure laborious bending and a downward passage into the system of channels. In addition to these advantages, the springs benefit from their long service life and their capacity to be used, as stainless steel variants, in even the most hygienically-sensitive areas.
Matching Applications
Industrial Gas Springs – Push Type - GS-8 to GS-70
Opening and closing mechanisms for entrance gatesIndustrial gas springs from ACE are used in order that a heavy wooden gate can be driven easily over uneven ground in front of a shelter for asylum seekers. In this example, GS-40 gas springs (push type) are integrated into the metal supports of the door's wheels. In fact, the GS-40 gas springs are significantly over-dimensioned for the task as compensating elements. Thanks to the ACE valve technology, sufficient nitrogen could be vented from the cylinders of the industrial gas springs on site in order that these could be configured ideally in the roller construction to the weight of the high-quality wooden gate, and they now function perfectly.
Rubber-Metal Isolators - Compression Mounts
Vibrations checked, sleep calmedAn air conditioning splitter transmitted vibrations from the roof of the house to adjacent living and sleeping rooms. Using the free VibroChecker app from ACE, the homeowner was able to convert his iPhone into a measuring device and, thanks to the subsequent online selection of vibration dampers, quickly find a remedy and ensure healthy sleep.<br /><sr>Four COM-5251 compression mounts from ACE eliminate vibrations at a natural frequency of 7.0 Hz to 11.0 Hz. The machine elements are maintenance-free and are the medium of choice in low-frequency applications from around 15 Hz. In this case a cool solution, not only for hot nights.
Rubber-Metal Isolators - Flex Locs
Decoupling of pump motors and gearsPremium sauna manufacturer EOS Saunatechnik relies on ACE rubber-metal isolators to eliminate disruptive noises in a sauna whose water for infusions is drawn from a mill wheel. During the development phase of the “mill sauna”, it became evident that the motor and gears of the mill wheel drive generated vibrations which were transmitted to the elegant stainless steel housing, and which could have led to uncomfortable noises during continuous operation. The Flex Loc quick connection elements were then installed as a preventative measure and a heavenly peace prevailed in the sauna.
Rubber-Metal Isolators - Hard Bell Mounts
Decoupling of lift drivesThe renovation of lifts is a demanding project. Nowadays, in addition to increased travelling comfort, they should also ensure that the means of transportation is accessible to the handicapped and that they are quiet. The fact that this was successfully achieved in this case, despite having a larger drive in comparison with the previous solution, is also thanks to the ACE rubber-metal isolators. At a natural frequency of 12 to 35 hertz, so-called cup mounts of the type CM-VSC2-40 isolate undesirable vibrations, decouple the new drive from the foundation and thus help to minimise noise to the satisfaction of the people living below the machine room.
