+44(0) 1942 727440Even though Ace Controls has recently introduced two mounting kits – MKU-19 and MKU-22 – to go with their two gate gas springs. We are often asked to provide advice for the best way to mount our gate gas springs.
The diagram below shows the suggested mounting positions for 90 degree opening of a typical gate using a GSG-22 and GSG-19 fitted with a Gas Spring Length Adapter (GSLA) that comes with every mounting kit.
Each kit comprises a gate gas spring force adjuster tool, mounting brackets and a GSLA, which allows the gas spring to be set to an exact length without the requirement to compress the spring.
