If your elevator, automatic or sliding doors require a smooth ‘no clunk’ operation then door dampers from hydraulic damper manufacturer, Ace Controls International are the solution.
Their new range of TD-28 single or double ended adjustable door dampers provide a smooth ‘linear deceleration’ closing in numerous applications.
With a hard chrome plated steel piston rod and a zinc plated steel outer body, the single and double ended dampers offer stroke lengths of 50, 70, 100 or 120mm. All hydraulic damper units have an operating temperature range between -20ºC to +80ºC.

Industrial shock absorbers manufacturer, Ace Controls International is now supplying its range of industrial shock absorbers with a standard corrosion protection that is 30% better than platinum, armoloy or nickel plate; 67% better than hard chrome and 150% better than black oxide.
Edward Abbott, Ace UK’s general manager says: “Independent laboratory salt-spray tests confirm that our new Weartec Plus coating offers superior corrosion protection to the common industry coatings used today and as part of continuous policy of product improvement, this will become standard on our M12 to M64 body diameter shock absorbers at no additional cost to our customers.”
Weartec Plus provides ideal protection on shock absorbers used in the wash down areas in the food and packaging industries as well as in harsh outdoor environments.

Industrial shock absorber and automation control equipment manufacturer, Ace Controls International has introduced a new vibration sensor for process monitoring that detects local malfunctions in the automation process, thus preventing expensive repairs, maintenance and downtime.
The new range of V Sensors, available in Digital PNP, NPN and analogue versions, are unique in that they come with a built-in power supply and data recording unit.
The sensors are positively connected to the equipment, normally fitting onto the ISO Din Rail, and permanently measure the vibration level during the work process. If an increase of vibrations caused by an overload, varying drive power and decreasing damping performance above the preset nominal value is detected, the sensor changes its switching status to open or close, depending on the design and the process is interrupted via the connection to the monitoring system.
Industrial shock absorber manufacturer, Ace Controls says: “These new sensors are ideal for use with pick and place equipment, linear modules, rotary actuators and grippers.”

For applications where corrosion resistance and hygiene are paramount, Ace Controls International can now offer a wide range of stainless steel industrial shock absorbers.
Manufactured in V4A stainless steel and using a special oil that fulfils the NSF-H1 requirements of the food industry, the new shock absorbers are ideal for use in the medical, pharmaceutical, food, offshore and marine industries.
The two new stainless steel industrial shock absorbers, developed from existing proven performers in Ace’s shock absorber family, are the MC150-MC600 V4A Series and the Magnum V4A Series.
Both ranges offer high energy absorption in compact packages (MC Series – 86.6mm to 141.9mm and Magnum – 151.7mm to 344mm.), self-compensation, an integrated mechanical stop and a wide range of effective weights – from 0.9kg to 42500kg.

Used successfully in many applications, the range of gate gas springs from automation control equipment manufacturer, Ace Controls International is a cost effective way to safely control the opening and closing of gates.
The GSG-22 unit is suitable for gates over 750mm wide and, after many customer requests for a unit for smaller gates, the GSG-19 is suitable for gates under 750mm.
Used to control the opening and closing of gates in schools, parks, sports facilities and homes, often in conjunction with a security system, these gas springs provide a steady, slow and controlled opening and closing of gates.
Both gate gas springs are self-contained, maintenance free units that can be easily fitted to metal or heavy wooden gates. They can be mounted in any position and a range of end fittings is available.
They are supplied with a choice of closing forces- 300, 400, 500 or 800 Newtons. However, each gas spring has a gas pressure valve hidden in the stud of the body end fitting. This can be carefully vented using an adjuster knob to suit each particular application.
The body of the gate gas spring is powder-coated steel and the piston rod is ceramic coated steel. The operating fluid is nitrogen gas and oil. These units have an operating temperature range between -20°C to +80°C.
