Shock Absorber Manufacturer Ace Awarded BSI Quality Standard

Shock absorber and automation control equipment manufacturer, Ace Controls International has just been awarded ISO 9001:2008 with UKAS accreditation from the British Standards Institution for operating a quality management system covering the stocking, sales, application selection, modification and supply of shock absorber and automation control equipment.

Edward Abbott, Ace UK’s general manager says: “For over 40 years, the Ace name and Ace products have been synonymous with quality. Receiving this award gives us third party approval from an industry recognised source and provides our customers with another good reason to buy from Ace.”

Ace Controls Gas Springs Featured In New 164-Page Catalogue

Automation control equipment manufacturer, Ace Controls International has introduced its new 164-page catalogue that combines all of its motion control products.

In addition to their world leading shock absorbers, the catalogue features hydraulic dampers, feed controls, rotary dampers, gas springs, TUBUS profile dampers and for the first time, SLAB damping sheets.

This technical catalogue provides the design engineer with all of the specification, calculation and selection information he requires to solve his motion control problems with shock absorbers, gas springs etc from one easy to use source.

Ace Moves To New UK Headquarters

Automation control equipment manufacturer Ace Controls International, gas struts supplier has moved to new UK headquarters. After being at their original offices since 1980, they have moved to a new purpose designed 8288 sq. ft. building in Haydock, only a few miles from their original Newton-le-Willows location. General Manager, Edward Abbott said: “This is the right move for us. It ties in with our medium to long term development plans for the business, our commitment to the UK market and at the same time, enables us to offer customers product development, custom modification and testing.” The facilities of the new headquarters include a gas struts demo room, meeting rooms, stock room, packing room, workshop and a large, easily accessible loading/unloading area.
